Description: a trephined female skull. There is a large trephination involving left parietal and occipital squama--left, resulting in irregular aperture with some indication of healing. Circular trephination (abrasion) approx. 2.2 cm. in diameter, involving left parietal near obelion. The two trephinations are connected by a fracture line. The skull is from Huarochiri, Peru, and was assigned object record number 1915.002.0255.
